Amanda Martin founded her Los Angeles based Interior Design firm in 2019, specializing in both residential and commercial projects. She is known for curating chic and livable spaces while layering classic and modern pieces with antiques, textiles and artwork. With fierce organization and thoughtfulness, Hook Interiors creates bespoke spaces that showcase the distinct style of each client.

Prior to opening her own firm, Amanda graduated from The Art Institute of Orange County and moved to New York City. There she attained her Masters Degree in Interior Design at the New York School of Interior Design. After graduating, she immediately started working at the award winning firm MR Architecture + Decor under David Mann and Interior Stylist Fritz Karch. There she was promoted to Project Manager within her first year and would work with the company for the next seven years. In the summer of 2018, Amanda bid farewell to her friends and colleagues at MR and moved back to her native California.

Currently, she resides in Echo Park with her husband and two cats, Muddy Waters and Ginger Baker.

To date, Amanda has designed projects in New York City, Long Island, Palm Beach, Silverlake, Pasadena, San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande as well as internationally in Hvar, Croatia.
